17 anglers took to the boats at Glencorse Reservoir on Thursday 12th June. Weather conditions were quite favourable with partial cloud cover from time to time and a brisk south easterly breeze. The fishing did not disappoint!
There were 65 fish netted with an impressive average fish weight of 3lb 6oz for the kept fish. Well done Glencorse! Jim Youngman took top honours with both the heaviest basket on the day at 19lb 6oz, and the heaviest fish at 6lb 2oz. Davie Birse and Davie Auld had the 2nd and 3rd heaviest baskets. Top rod honours of 9 fish each went to Davie Birse and one of our guests, Gareth Taylor. Congratulations to all the anglers!
After the weigh-in, the anglers enjoyed a nice meal in the conservatory at the nearby Steading Restaurant.
