Our last outing of the 2024 season took place at Chatton Lakes on 3rd September. The weather conditions were fair with a light south-westerly breeze and good water clarity. All ideal in theory, but the fishing proved difficult!
The 12 Club members and two guests netted 19 fish, with Robbie Bell returning the heaviest 4-fish basket, closely followed by Allan Cook and Jim Youngman.
The after dinner meal took place in the nearby Percy Arms. The fish and chips was a popular choice – for some it was the first fish they had seen all day.
